On May 31st, communities across the Northwoods will hold commemorations to recognize the men and woman who made the ultimate sacrifice for our county. The Office of Veterans Affairs and Operation We Are Here offer resources about the history of Memorial Day and suggestions on how to best honor the fallen.

As you prepare for the holiday weekend, we are offering these planning tips and checklists for your outdoor cooking.  For the DIY enthusiast in your family, here are nine backyard games for summer get togethers that will help entertain your crew.
