About Us

NorthwoodsNews.com, a division of Kim Swisher Communications, LLC., is a digital collaboration committed to aggregating, sharing and crafting upbeat and accurate news and information for the Northwoods of Wisconsin.

We are focused on informing our readers, sharing information about our region, and becoming a reliable source of all of the good things in the Northwoods.

In addition to being a source of news and information about the Northwoods, you'll find unique stories, the Northwoods Foodie, stories on culture and the arts, and information for residents about our local governments.

We are seeking opportunities to collaborate with writers, photojournalists, videographers and anyone who has a passion for sharing their work with our readers.
