We love dads! How do you celebrate the man who has everything? Here at Northwoods News, we have put together a wide range of activities to inspire you. Whether you plan on giving Dad a relaxing day at home or taking him out into the world, we hope you and your family have a wonderful day.
If Dad is a homebody, breakfast in bed is the perfect way to kick off the day. Homemade Recipes has nine recipes to choose from that will be sure to put a smile on Dad’s face. We suggest the Cheddar Bacon Waffles, after all, what Dad doesn’t love bacon? Get the kids involved, Good Housekeeping has several projects you and the little ones can make to show Dad your love.
S’mores can be an ideal Father’s Day treat. Make them outdoors around the campfire or indoors in the oven and put in a movie that Dad will love.
If Dad and the family are up for some out-of-home activities, here are 10 Northwoods spots that are sure to please. From escape rooms to mini-golf, there is bound to be an experience that Dad will enjoy.
Eagle Falls Adventure Golf and Laser Tag

Eagle Falls is an 18-hole adventure style mini golf course. The beautifully landscaped course carries a 1950’s fishing camp theme complete with fishing cabin, bait shop and fishing dock. Cool off with ice cream or an ice-cold soft drink after your game.
Laser Tag can be thought of as a high-tech game of tag or capture the flag. It is an exciting and fun team-based or individual game appropriate for players age six and older. In the game, players are challenged to make the most “tags” on the other team and the player or team with the most “tags” wins. The Eagle Falls laser tag arena is a highly interactive 3,000 square foot play area. It is full of fun effects including fog, black lights, music, multi-level play areas and creative themed decorations. (Both individual and team play are allowed, so Dad can choose his own adventure!
