SUMMARY:Lakeside Yoga Stretch
DESCRIPTION:Lakeside Yoga Stretch is a class paced to facilitate a deeper release in the major muscle groups.  It includes gentle stretches\, breath work\, and effective movements to increase range of motion and ease chronic pain. \nThis class is appropriate for all students who simply want to increase their flexibility\, experience a deep release\, improve strength and balance\, and increase mental clarity and focus. \nClass will be held at the Discovery Center on the amphitheater (outdoors)\, or indoor during inclement weather.  All levels welcome.  Charge for each class is $12.00 to be paid on the day of class.  No registration required.

SUMMARY:Kid's Creative Movement and Art with Julie
DESCRIPTION:Julie brings a variety of fun themes to each class blending creative movement and yoga\, breathing techniques\, music\, and interactive games\, ending with a mindful art activity.  Each child will be welcomed into a supportive and encouraging space. \nPhysically\, yoga helps promote strength\, increase flexibility\, develop coordination\, balance\, and motor skills.  Yoga has also been found to have positive impact on social-emotional well-being by helping children manage stress and anxiety. \nClass will be held at the Discovery Center outdoors\, or indoor during inclement weather.  Class intended for children ages 5-10 years. Registration is required by 7/14/24.

SUMMARY:Beaded and Leather Cord Bracelets with Darcy Lanz-Sage
DESCRIPTION:Join us for another fun workshop with artist Darcy Lanz-Sage! \nIn this workshop\, participants will make a bracelet duo.  One bracelet will be a simple braided cord bracelet; the other a beaded chevron bracelet.  While all the bracelets will look similar in design; the participants will have a variety of bead colors to choose from.  The chevron bracelet is made using leather cord\, metal jump rings\, and Miyuki Glass Beads.  The bracelets are very comfortable and easy to make! \nChildren 12 and up are welcome as well!
